Snorkelling in Silfra at Þingvellir

Snorkling in Silfra at Þingvellir
The Silfra fissure is one of Iceland’s most surprising natural creations.

Located in the heart of Þingvellir, the site of the world’s oldest parliament, this deep, narrow rift is filled with crystal clear water that will give you a transcendental feeling of weightlessness as you float gently along with the lazy current. Rated as one of the world’s top ten diving sites, Silfra offers up to 100 metres of underwater visibility, and this tour will provide the opportunity to explore this unique underwater world for one hour.

This is a relaxing and exotic trip in an environment most will encounter only in their dreams. If you have your own transportation, we meet at 10:00 at the Main Information Centre close to the crossroads at the centre of the National Park.
